I was born on the West Side of San Antonio, Texas to a single mother. My mother went on to marry my step-father and I quickly became the middle child, a spot I am grateful to take-up.

I graduated from a small-town high school in Somerset, Texas. I graduated with my diploma and some college credits which I continued to add to via Alamo Community College.

After working full-time to pay for my full-time community college curriculum I decided to join the United States Air Force. I went on to become a Public Health Technician.

After being stationed in Trenton, New Jersey for three years I met my, now, husband, James. This is the day we went on our first date, a courtship that would last four years.

After my 2016 deployment James and I took a trip to Barcelona where he proposed and I promptly said yes! One of the best days of my life.

After 6 years active duty in the United States Air Force James and I pack up and head down to San Antonio where I transferred into the reserves and begin taking college classes.

After spending four years together, living in two states, adopting a dog James and I decided to go down to city hall and elope in San Antonio, Texas.

With a focus in journalism and photography I graduated from Alamo Community College with my Associates of Arts and begin taking courses at Texas State University.

After a semester in college I decided to take one semester off and focus on coding. I enrolled in Codeup, a 6 month full-stack web development bootcamp after which, I went back to school.

With a focus in digital media innovation and a minor in Latino studies I graduate Summa Cum Laude from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree.

After renting apartments and townhomes James and I finally became first-time home owners. We now have a yard for our fur-babies and space for family to stay and visit during the holidays.
